Sidart is our flagship restaurant, 11 years old. It is based in Ponsonby and is a family run business. We also own Cassia and Sid at The French Cafe.

We are looking for experienced restaurant managers to lead the team at Sidart. The position has raised due to the transfer of the current restaurant manager to another of our own venues.

The ideal candidate will
- have a minimum of 2 years experience as a senior waiter in a formal dining environment and at least 1 year of management experience in a similar calibre restaurant.
- Wine knowledge, especially of NZ and international wines. A qualification like WSET is an advantage. Matching wines to food and recommending wine is part of the job description.
- Duty managers certificate and LCQ, no criminal convictions preventing the renewal or holding of the Duty managers certificate and sound knowledge of the Sale and Supply of  Alcohol Act.
-Ability to lead the team, train staff and motivate them.
- Know and maintain our high standards of service for customers, staff welfare and supplier relationships.

We provide training on our own systems, generous tips, flu vaccinations, staff meals and drinks. We also support our staff with training through the restaurant association  workshops and WSET.
